Custom builds

Form follows function.

Every build conversation starts with how you intend to use the firearm — range, hunt, defense, competition, or some mix of those. From there we work backwards to a parts list and a budget that actually fit the goal.

Why Pew Pew AZ

A working shop, not a storefront.

Pew Pew AZ started in competitive shooting and grew into a Mesa-based custom shop. Most of our work comes from the East Valley, and most of it starts with a real conversation about what you're trying to do.

  • Local

    Mesa-based, East Valley-focused.

Real hours, real pickups, real conversations. Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Chandler, and the rest of the East Valley.

  • Hands-on

    Brands the pros carry.

Magpul, Geissele, SilencerCo, Faxon, Radian, CMC, and more. We'll talk you through what fits your platform and use case before anything ships.

  • Custom builds

    Form follows function.

Builds start with use case and budget, then work backwards to the parts list. You leave with a spec sheet you can defend.

  • No pressure

A conversation, not a sales pitch.

First-time owners and seasoned shooters both welcome. Bring questions, a parts list, or a problem you've been chewing on.

  1. 01 — Imagine it

    Tell us the goal.

Use case, budget, and any platform you already own.

  2. 02 — Give us a call

    We talk it through.

Ten minutes is usually enough to map out next steps.

  3. 03 — Get to work

    We handle the details.

See All Questions
Do you handle FFL transfers?

Yes. We accept incoming transfers from online retailers and out-of-state sellers, then complete the transfer to you in compliance with federal and Arizona requirements.

Can you help me source a firearm or specific parts?

Yes. We can help locate parts, optics, accessories, and platforms through our network of distributors and trusted brand partners. Reach out with what you have in mind and we'll talk through options.

Can you help with a custom build?

Absolutely. Most custom build conversations start with how you intend to use the firearm. From there we plan parts, fit, and budget together before any work begins.

Do I need to be legally eligible to own a firearm?

Yes. All firearm-related services are subject to federal, Arizona, and local law. That includes background checks, age verification, and any documentation required for the transaction.
